AA Pharmacy CME & Team Building 2022 - Dream, Dare, Deliver #AA3D
PETALING JAYA: Forty (40) AA retail pharmacists have gathered together in Le Meridien Hotel, PJ on 12 and 13 July 2022 for a team building and CME event! The event comes with a theme of “Dream, Dare, Deliver”, highlighting the needs of having a big goal in mind and set to execute and excel in it.
A series of CME sessions took place throughout the 2-day event. Doctors and experts from the pharmaceutical industry were invited to speak on various topics such as Cardiovascular and Diabetes management, Mild Cognitive Impairment (MCI), Asthma, Gastrointestinal management and Pain management. On top of that, in order to promote teamwork and cultivate a harmonious working culture within AA, the participants also went through several challenging yet fun team building activities together. Although tiring, it was a successful event where all of the participants went home with a big smile on the face.

One of the pharmacists from Banting branch, Mr Tang Kah Hang claimed that joining the event has managed to improve his knowledge on said topic and promoted team work between him and his colleagues from other branches as he did not always have the chance to interact with them. Teamwork, Professionalism and Integrity were among the traits that he managed to hone.
“It was a good opportunity for me to recharge from the hectic retail working life”
Meanwhile, Ms Foong Pei Ruh from Bukit Tinggi branch said that this event allowed her to take a short break from her ever-high-traffic Bukit Tinggi outlet. She enjoyed the event as she was able to gain more pharmaceutical knowledge from the speakers and at the same time had fun throughout the process.

Ms Chang Jen Nee, from Kepong Baru branch certainly enjoyed the 2-day event as she felt a feeling of nostalgia as if she went back to university time. Learning and building good relationship with colleagues (then classmate) definitely add some sparks in working life. Afterall, all work and no play make Jack a dull boy!
The organizing team is glad to have conducted an event which is able to give such an impact to our fellow frontliners. The most important asset in an organization, no doubt is the employees.
